I thought I’d reshare this as I know many of you are kicking off your campaigns, if you haven’t already.


A solid marketing plan is crucial if you want a consistent pipeline of enquiry.


Making sure you’re fully leveraging social media, print, email, SMS, buyer agents and every other available channel doesn’t just lift your visibility in the marketplace, it actively creates seller opportunities, especially when it’s done consistently.


This checklist is one I followed throughout my own career. Hopefully it sparks a few new ideas, or gives you a clearer structure to build or refine your marketing campaigns.

I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge what many across Victoria are dealing with right now.


We know some of our offices, property managers, teams and families are directly impacted by the bushfires. It’s confronting, exhausting, and it adds another layer of pressure at a time when many are already stretched.


One of the things I’m always proud of in this industry, and particularly within this network, is how people quietly step up when it matters.

The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner has begun spot audits of real estate agencies to check compliance with the Privacy Act.


What they are looking at?


  • Whether your Privacy Policy is current and compliant, not outdated or generic


  • Whether your privacy procedures are actually being followed, not just written down


  • How you collect, store, use and dispose of personal information, including in-person data collection at opens and appointments
