Referral Network

Here are some key players that build a strong foundation to having an active referral network.

  1. Sales Agents (Internal & External)

  2. Mortgage Brokers

  3. Buyer's Agents

  4. Conveyancers & Solicitors

  5. Accountants

  6. Financial Planners

  7. Tradespeople & Maintenance Contractors

  8. Insurance Brokers

  9. Strata Managers

  10. Developers & Builders

  11. Past Tenants

  12. Current Tenants

  13. Local Business Owners

  14. Current landlords

  15. Past landlords

  16. Social Media Influencers (Local or Niche)

  17. Facebook Community Admins

  18. Local Council / Chamber of Commerce


Just 1 lead per month from each of these referrers equates to 18 new leads coming into your pipeline. One thing to note is how you want to structure the relationship. Most of my referrals are based off relationship only with no financial benefit to the referrer. That way its clean, they know the client is getting a good service etc. You still can definitely do a referral payment system with a referrer but just make it is in writing and agreed upon by your director. For example, 1 lead signed and leased = 1 x weeks rent to the referrer.
