ANDROID VERSION UPDATE
Hey team,
As many of our Android users will already be aware, we have had an extremely frustrating experience trying to get ONE PLACE live and consistently available on the Android platform.
From memory, it has gone live and then disappeared around five times now, and working with the overseas development team to resolve this has been challenging, to say the least.
To ensure no one is disadvantaged from accessing all the tools within ONE PLACE, plus three brand new features launching next week, I have decided to host the app via an alternative software channel for anyone experiencing access issues.
For Apple users, nothing changes. Apple has been a delight to work with, and your experience remains exactly the same.
For Android users, the app will sit (for now) within the foundation software app called Spaces (a light blue icon with the word “Spaces” in white, see image below) until such time as we are confident to go back to Google Play.
Functionality, content and layout are exactly the same as the Apple app, aside from one or two minor layout differences.
Both platforms are also due for their annual upgrade in the coming weeks, with some exciting new additions from our partners, plus features designed to better support you in the marketplace.
Thank you all for your patience, especially when it has been tested more than once. I know how frustrating this has been, and I’ve felt it alongside you.
Please reach out anytime if you have questions or concerns. Hopefully this resolves the issue once and for all, as this version sits within the software’s internal app system and has already been approved for release.
